During the June holidays 2011 I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to start a programme to equip young minds with skills and knowledge to improve their lives. I felt a deep conviction and a deep need to teach people how to improve their lives. I started the motivational and inspirational Club at school. Thirty learners attend regularly.
I was surprised when I asked the group to reflect on what they have learnt. I will share some thoughts in the future. What I can say however is that I discovered a big need for God’s Word and His love. Learners want to change their destiny, they want to be successful, they want to finish grade 12, they want to change their circumstances. All they need is support, knowledge and skills...
I am in the process to do research on what is relevant, what it is they want to know and and learn. This will enable me to design a programme to deliver on these needs.
